At this time the temple is decorated with lights, flowers making the most beautiful scene inside the temple. Most of the devotees visit at this time. They have the trained staff to manage the crowd of the people.
Two Navratri is celebrated in a year, on both Navratri, the temple is decorated and they also held the langar twice a day for 9 days. Many others events are also held at that time in the temple. To avoid the crowd of the people you should prefer to go early in the noon. The timing of Chhattarpur Mandir during Navratri is from 5 am to 11 pm.
Langar in Chhattarpur Temple
At the time of Navratri, the langar is held in which the temple premises serve the free food to all the Bhakts for the 9 days. There is huge basement hall in the temple which is called Langar Hall.
The timing of Langer in the morning is from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm and in the evening the timing is 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Poori and Sabji is served in the langar and it is very tasty. For the people who keep their fast during the Navratri, they are served with special Pakodas, the timing is same for both.
As per my experience it is not recommended to go on first and the last day of Navratri, you will not get great experience. Apart from Navratri, Langar is held on the Poornima of every month, generally the timing remain the same but it may vary slightly sometime.
