To improve the experience of visitors they are adding many services, they provide the paid service of restroom and water fountain. There are 4 entry gate of the park and 25 cars can be parked at every gate. They are planning to expand their parking space where you are park by paying minimal fees.
To make it more attractive they have planted the green grass all over the ground which is trimmed by staff members regularly. They created the beautiful shapes and pattern by trimming the bushes. They have focused on every part of park to make it more beautiful.
It is very close to Yamuna River so you can also have the view of Yamuna river capturing the great pictures. As per Delhi Darshan Humayun Tomb is also visible making it the perfect spot for visitors to capture different monument from one place.
The significant part of the park is SHANTI STUPA opened on 14 November 2007 by monk and nun Nipponzan Myohoji, Lt. Governor of Delhi. The Stupa is a symbol for promoting world peace.

At the time of mahabharat, Indraprastha was the capital of Pandavas empire. At this time Indraprastha is called New Delhi due to which the park is called Indraprastha Park.

This Park remains open from 6:00 am to 7:15 pm everyday. It is highly recommended to visit in the early of the morning or late of evening to avoid the hot temperature in the summer season. To avoid the crowd on weekend prefer to visit in the morning. However the park is less crowdy on weekdays you may prefer any of the time.
