Best Time To Visit Temple
The best time to visit the ISKCON Temple is between the months of October to March as the season starts to cool down in Delhi. The ideal timing for visiting the temple is 4:30 AM and 7:00 AM so that you can attend the aarti and during the evening the ideal timing is 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
Visiting during the festival season can give you more chances to watch and participate in other activities as well and it will be so crowdy during this time. To avoid the crowd you should prefer visiting on weekdays only.
ISKCON Temple Entry fees
There is no entry fees to visit the ISKCON Temple, however they charge the fees for spiritual counselling and for tour guide. They also accept the donation which is utilised for maintenance of the temple, the donation boxes are available throughout the temple for Devotee to make contributions.

History Of ISKCON Temple

The founder of International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) built this temple to spread the learning and beliefs of Lord Krishna as the temple is dedicated to lord Krishna and Radha.
The total cost of project was ₹ 12 crore which was funded by Delhi government and the rest of the India. The temple was inaugurated by P.M Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee on 5th April 1998.

Architecture Design of Temple
The complex of the temple is built with the white marbles having elegant domes, tall shikaras and beautiful large prayer hall. The temple combines modern construction techniques with traditional Hindu temple design. The temple was beautifully designed by Shri Achyut Purushottam Kanvinde.

1) The prime minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the largest Bhagavad Gita Book in the temple on 26th February 2019. The book was printed in Italy having the weight of 800 kg and 2.8 metres in length.
2) The materials used for the construction of temple measured around 880 tons of steel, 5,500 tons of cement, 260,000 cubic feet of stone chips, 75,000 square feet of stone, 25,000 square feet of marble and 2,000 cubic feet of wood.
3) Total of 12 crore rupees was spent on the entire construction project and only 250 workers were employed for the temple project.
